When the grass is longer than 4.5cm, the grass should be cut. The ideal length is between 3 and 4.5cm.
In the spring, the grass should be cut every week, while in the summer once every two weeks is sufficient.
You can, but the result is better in dry weather. When the grass is wet, grass clumps can easily form and clog the mower.
Ensure that the power cord is properly plugged in and that the power source is working. Check the on/off switch to make sure it is in the 'on' position. If the trimmer still does not start, check if the power cord is damaged or if the fuse has blown.
To change the cutting line, first disconnect the trimmer from the power source. Use the provided tool or a pair of pliers to remove the old cutting line spool. Insert a new cutting line spool into the trimmer head, making sure it is securely in place. Follow the arrow direction for proper line winding and positioning.
Ensure that you are using the correct type and diameter of cutting line specified by the manufacturer. Avoid hitting hard objects, like rocks or fences, while trimming to reduce strain on the line. If the line is still breaking frequently, adjust the trimmer's speed or technique to avoid excessive stress on the line.
Ensure that the line is properly fed out and not too short. Adjust the trimmer's cutting height for optimal performance on different grass lengths. Keep the trimmer head clean and free from debris, as a clogged head can impede cutting performance. Additionally, always work at a consistent pace and avoid rushing to achieve better cutting results.
If the strimmer overheats, it is likely due to the motor getting excessively hot. Make sure that the air vents are not blocked by debris or grass clippings. Avoid using the strimmer for extended periods without allowing it to cool down. If the problem persists, it is recommended to contact a professional service centre for further inspection and repairs.

I have a Bosch Art 26 EasyTrim, purchased 2009. It is a Pro Tap automatic Model. The user instructions state :Hold the spool plate 16 in position. Turn the spool cover 14, counter clockwise and remove. Take the empty spool 17 from the spool cover. Thread the line of the new refilled spool through the eyehole 15 and place the spool in the spool cover 14. Pull approximately 9 cm of line out of the spool. Place spool with cover 14 on the spool plate in the correct position (bayonet fastening), press down and turn fully clockwise (clockwise)
